New Year

Y Happy New Year to all of you! Y

Thanks so much for taking such good care of Mom - even if she doesn't get it. I have been feeling like she might be able to stay in her condo for a little while longer as long as we all keep her honest. I really don't know if she eats regularly, though. I suspect she only has coffee and muffin in morning and then the ice cream in the evening. Good thing you all make her go and eat real food.

Talked to her today on the way back from the lake and she sounded good. She said she was taking her Christmas decorations down. But she told me she enjoyed seeing all of us on Christmas Eve - so she remembered. That part is good.

I hope that this blog helps us keep up with her better. Thanks for posting!

Wow! I didn't think I had ever heard her tell about the railroad story. I wonder what other secrets will be lost because she won't tell!

I'll be over on the 3rd to see her. And I'll check in by phone. Have a good trip!

Thank you so much for inviting me into the discussion... oh wait... you never did. What am I chopped liver? Thought I would just have to join myself. Anyways... I am in Florida. Things are well. It is cold. Only 70 degrees!! Mom made it down just fine. WE will go have some margaritas down on the beach for you all. Have a hot toddy for me! (he he)

Katie and I found a GREAT dress for the wedding and now it really feels like its happening. I am glad that we will all have the opportunity to relax with Het in Florida in a coupla weeks. Every time I come here I am reminded why Dad loved it here. Warm, sunny (even when freeziing), lots of geezers......
