Moving Mom
We are moving Mom to a new room at the Independence Village. She is moving to the Harbors side where she can get more personal care and where the room is smaller, with no balcony. Her new room number is #22. She is on the second floor with no apartments above her and she will have a view of the front driveway from her room. The move date is August 28 and I hope that anyone who has a chance will come to help. If we all help, it will go quickly. We will need someone to provide the distraction, as well. I hope we can get started on Saturday, August 28, at about 9:30 AM. We cannot fit all of her furniture in the new room, so if you are interested in something... come over and help. Also, please bring a few boxes or crates so we can empty those cupboards and closets. I will work with the IV management to set-up the move on the Friday before. I look forward to seeing you there! She is very confused and thinks she is moving tomorrow. I have been there twice, yesterday and today to assure that she isn't going this week but next. She has been driving them nuts looking for boxes and such. Has all her stuff out and ready to go but at least has left her bed empty so she can sleep. arghhhhhhh........ anywho... katie's doctor was much more optimistic regarding her pregnancy. She will have to stay in bed for a couple of weeks, but he said that should help. Looks like all your prayers went to a good cause. Thank you.
I am there to help that morning, but have a wedding shower that I can't miss since I am in the wedding party that afternoon at 3.
